A drawing from 1999 which I still like a lot. Out of a series of 3 pieces. I know that the piece might be offensive, that's why I decided to make it mature content.
Offensive? Not to me. There should be more rubber nuns. I like this piece a lot. Stark black and white seems especially suited for leather and rubber bondage drawings.
I like this, for a start, the style of drawing and shading gives it a minimalistic, stencil like look. And the colour suit the content of the picture well. Great work ^^

Well, I wouldn't have thought that either, but I've had some quite strange reactions from christian SMers. They hated the piece, because they thought of it blasphemeous.
Btw. We are talking 2004 in the middle of germany...

I've had this printed on 50 x 70 cm in black and silver. It's a beautyfull poster, but it seems to be a really slow seller. So much for a big carreer as a poster designer. *lol*

Ahh, well, the reaction would probably have been even worse in the USA. Just heard on the radio today that 40 percent of americans consider themselves "born again" christians.
By the way, I like the way her legs are laced up together. No walking aloud.
I'm glad *you* said that, being an american. I have worked for the US-Army ages ago and I can't really say, that I like the typical hypocracy of many americans I've met. Watching "Bowling for Colombine" gave me the creeps again. Yet it gave me hope, that not all americans are that way... the majority probably, but a small majority (hopefully).
And the most strange thing for an european (or german, if you prefer) is that *we have* a certain amount of censorship over here, while you americans haven't. But the waves some art causes in the states are *much* higher than over here. Has anybody here ever seriously considered "Marilyn Manson" responsible for Colombine killing? Nope! In the states? You bet!

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
